Gil Rose and the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) bring their vital support of new music to the Library in their first appearance in the Coolidge Auditorium. With an immense discography built since its founding in 1996, BMOP continues to advocate for new music and works that are not yet well-represented in the discography. Their Library program features the music Charles Wuorinen and Roger Reynolds, including their Library-commissioned works for violin and piano. It promises to be a revelatory concert of music composed in the last 35 years.
