The position serves as the Confidential Assistant to the Librarian and/or Deputy Librarian of Congress. This position is located in the Office of the Librarian and is responsible for complex liaison and coordination activities and research and analysis. The incumbent provides advice and guidance to the Librarian and/or Deputy Librarian and high ranking management officials throughout the agency. The position manages all functions for the Librarian and carries out special projects affecting the Library of Congress. Works on confidential teams performing research and analyses of new and existing programs and projects.
