"Concise" documentation refers to the MARC 21 Concise Format for Community Information that contains abridged descriptions of every data element, along with examples.
DEFINITION AND SCOPE
Field 440 is the only 4XX field currently defined for Community Information records. It
is used both to record series statements and to provide access to series titles.
