FIELD DEFINITION AND SCOPE

Note about special accommodations for people with disabilities that are available at or provided by the entity. Some of this information may be contained in coded form in field 007 (Physical Description Fixed Field).

For instance, information may be present regarding toilet facilities; the availability of wheelchairs, special computers, or braille; whether steps have been ramped, telephones have been lowered, flashing lights have been installed, or grab bars have been added in restrooms, etc. It could also include information on how to get to the community information entity by special transportation for people with disabilities, whether or not a sign language interpreter is available, etc.
